Mary Cella is a stand-up comedian and writer based in Brooklyn. She hosts the long-running monthly show Tip Top Tits at Tip Top Bar and Grill in Bed-Stuy and Sunday Scaries at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater. Her stand-up has been featured on the BBC and her writing has appeared in The New York Times and onThe New Yorker, Jezebel, McSweeney's, The Hairpin, Slackjaw, Comedy Central, and CNN. She's the Co-Founder of Little Old Lady Comedy. She teaches stand-up classes for tweens and teens at Kids ‘N Comedy and for adults at the UCB. Mary is originally from Berkshire County, Massachusetts, where she grew up ski racing on a little hill where it was socially acceptable to ski in jeans (but she never did).
